about us

Loveable is a social enterprise set up in response to the rising levels of social isolation and loneliness in the lives of learning disabled and autistic people. We exist to bring vibey and varied adult social lives to our communities.

We are a small team of committed professionals and 'experts by experience' who believe in the power of friendship, love, connection and belonging.

about loveable noosh and dan making peace sign

We believe disabled and neurodivergent adults deserve the same opportunities as anyone else to make friends, fall in love, go out, have fun and build a social life that feels like their own.

Too often, opportunities for genuine connection outside of family or paid support are limited, particularly in the evenings and at weekends. We’re here to change that.

Loveable brings people together in pubs, clubs and community spaces, creating opportunities for genuine friendships, new experiences, greater independence and meaningful relationships. Along the way, we’re challenging stereotypes about what disabled people can, should and want to do.

We’re redefining what adulthood can look like,  creating a community where people can live boldly, belong fully and exist loudly.

What we do

Loveable is a membership-based community for learning-disabled and autistic adults. We bring people together through regular social events, shared experiences, and supportive spaces where real connections can grow. Membership gives people a sense of belonging to something ongoing – not just one-off events – while our socials, workshops, and support create opportunities for friendship, confidence, and connection in everyday community spaces.

We do things such as pub socials, club trips, theatre groups, DJ lessons, special yoga and many more. We respond to what our community members want. We have regular meetings where all our members can give their ideas on what to do and we where possible we will do it!

We support and encourage friendships within the groups and help members to make and maintain those friendships. Many people came to us very shy and nervous with a parent for the first time and now are in friend whatsapp groups, arranging independent friend dates and coming to socials independently. We get to know our members and we all support each other, its a beautiful thing! We believe we have created something vital and special here, and would love for you to join us!
